Lizzi Wolfson, LCSW & Founder
At an early age, I realized my passion was to provide mental health services to those who feel stuck and need tools to create change in their life. Growing up in Upstate New York, there was a shortage of specialized providers to meet the needs of the community and I saw family and friends travel hours to receive treatment. With the dawn of telehealth, this will hopefully be an artifact of the past.
With the knowledge of my lived experience, I voraciously pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's of Social Work. Internships, classwork, and a graduate assistantship provided unparalleled learning experiences. Textbook learning, research, and real life application came together in an exciting new way!
Since graduating and relocating to Florida, my career has blossomed with opportunities to provide community based services to families and individuals in need. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Practice have remained at the forefront as I strive to master treatment modalities that can best meet the needs of those I serve. Every person and family is unique, so the learning process never ends as we work together to find a tailored approach!
It has been a great honor and privilege to serve the community and help individuals and families improve their lives. My areas of specialty include serving the needs of children as young as three years old and working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, including those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, genderfluid, non-binary, transgender and more.
